Really friendly local spot. Southern comfort food. Their two-scoop chicken salad is my favorite. Revolving menu to some degree so you can't always order the same thing. Always seated and served fairly fast. Family owned and operated.

This was my second time eating at Stax and my food was delicious and excellent customer service. Each time i went, i was with a group including children. The waitress was so nice and helpful with menu choices. I haven't had their breakfast but heard it was delicious. My only complaint was the chicken pot pie was not good that my husband ordered. It had a weird taste and didn't taste like chicken pot pie. However, the waitress offered to get him something else and she bought it out promptly. Very nice restaurant for the family to enjoy a meal together.

The service and the food is consistently AWESOME! We eat here very regularly with no complaint! Simply a great place to eat!

Friendly service, wholesome food and combinations on menu. I went during breakfast and left full and pleased. My only complaint was the size of the cups all felt like children's cups. Cups like that make me feel like the owners are just too cheap to want to give people more beverage than they pay for.
