Chicken Salad Chick

We were delighted with the menu. We thought it would be rather one dimensional but it was not. My partner and I each had the soup and salad combo. I had the broc and cheese soup and my hubby had the loaded potato soup. The soups were made on the premises, not sourced from a supplier. The salads were also made on the premises starting by cooking there own chicken breasts. I had the Buffalo chicken salad and he had the lemon basil chicken salad. We each had our choice of the sides. Hubby chose the broc salad and I chose the grape salad. The plate included a large piece of crispy dill pickle, plenty of crackers for which to scoop up the chicken salad, and a delicious melt in your mouth sugar cookie. The cookie is the only thing not made on the premises. It is contracted out to a local bakery using the original recipe from the founder. The decor is decidedly feminine, but bright and cheery. It was lunch time and plenty of men from the nearby BMW plant were sitting at the tables. It must be true what they say, "Chicken salad is the new quiche. Real men eat chicken salad."

Food is tasty and fresh but the online ordering experience has room for improvement. Online menu had items that were not available at the restaurant, and the order was not ready until 10 minutes past the requested time. Staff seemed very confused. Management apologized and offered a coupon to make up for the issue. Great food but I would not order online next time.

The chicken salad is great but the service is even better. Each time I come to Chicken salad chick. They take the time to let me try different ones and I never feel rushed. It might seem a little pricey for chicken salad but they definitely make it worth while. Give it a try!
