Best. Pizza. Ever. I've been losing my taste for pizza in general, but this place will have me coming back for more. I recommend the buffalo chicken pizza. The side of ranch dressing you can get has a nice, slightly runny consistency, it's perfect.
It's a small gripe, but the salad that normally has wonderful house dressing.. Came with essentially a plastic rammican of oil, today. Again, small gripe, but on the day I found out I was losing a $600 deposit and will probably not have my own place to live for Another six months... I really would've liked Something to go according to plan. I loved getting lunch from here, affordable, friendly staff.. But.. I guess it just wasn't my day..
Sucks, is all.
Review #2 - April 24, 2019, - Dinner at Antonio Bertolo’s - 200 N Main Street Greenville, SC
Dinner at this NY style pizza shop in downtown. Came in to get two slices of cheese pizza. They no longer sell slices of pizza although their special for the night was 2 slices of cheese pizza and a drink. Anyway, ordered a small cheese pizza and a Diet Pepsi. The pizza was really good. The sauce had a spicy flavor to it that I really liked. They used nice mozzarella cheese and the crust was obviously made in house and fresh. Very little flop on the slice but a little greasy which is obviously from the mozzarella. Cooked in a real pizza oven and not on one of those conveyor rollers. I am a pizza fanatic and I must say this was one of the better pizzas I have had in Greenville. Spent $8.79 for a small 9 inch cheese pizza and a drink. If you do not like a spiced up sauce this may not be for you, but I loved it. You could tell the sauce did not come out of a can and there was some love put into it.
Overall score 1-10, I give this pizza a solid. 7.8
This place has a nice old school feel. Staff is friendly and professional. Plenty of room to sit. Pizza was outstanding and the quality of the ingredients was obvious. They don't skimp to save a nickle. Great place to eat, get a street side seat if you can. It's a nice place to people watch.
