Stax Omega Diner & Bakery

I haven't been here in over 20 years, but the food was amazing! I went there with a friend for an impromptu birthday celebration. The service was quick & everyone was amazingly friendly. Plus my short rib special was divine! I didn't want the meal to end!

Coffee was perfectly strong & rich to go well with my maple pecan cake. Great experience from beginning to end!

Food is very good but a little pricey, at the beginning I thought is worth it but then the rude service changed my mind, the worst attitude goes to the lady at the register, followed by the waitress that rushes you to finish a huge meal in 15 minutes and go home so she can have more clients. Very uncomfortable ????

We come here almost weekly. We have never been disappointed with a single waiter, hostess, meal, drink, or seat/serve wait times. We literally come here to rave about how delicious it is. If I had to recommend anything, they have a delicious cheese curd appetizer we get every single time, but basically if you're ordering something you like, you will love their take on it. 6/5 stars from us!

Didn't realize how busy this place is. The whole lobby was FULL. We were a party of 8 and got pretty discouraged when we saw how busy it was, but we went to the host anyway to see how long it would be. He said 10 minutes! We were like "yeah right." IT TOOK 8 MINUTES TO SEAT US. We were shocked. The service was okay - our server wasn't great at keeping our drinks full, but it was REALLY busy so we couldn't really complain. They serve breakfast all day, which is awesome. I got their blueberry french toast and a side of potatoes. It was really good. I think it would make it easier to get in and out if the servers took payment at the table, rather than the people at the registers up front.

We were visiting the area for a concert and this place was recommended to us. The service was good and the waiter was friendly. A bit too talkative at times, but we didn't mind too much.

I ordered the Chicken Avocado sandwich and it was delicious. It was definitely a fresh piece of chicken, unlike the one I had at cheesecake factory earlier in the day. The reason for a 4 star instead of 5 star is my husband's meal. He got 2 eggs and bacon. He got "grilled potatoes" with it. That equals 3 potato wedges (CHEAP). The bacon was very overcooked, and was only given one piece of toast.

We'd come back - he'd just order something different.
