Mary's at Falls Cottage

Marys Cottage is a quaint restaurant located on the edge of falls park downtown Greenville. I've been there a number of times. The food and service is exceptional. There is a number of outdoor tables, and I recommend eating outside if the weather is right. You will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing I ordered the French toast it came with fresh fruit and it complemented the breakfast perfectly!

To be honest, it has always seemed a bit short staffed as it can take a super long to be served here. HOWEVER, the staff is always so kind and the food is excellent. You cannot beat the location either! I would just recommend planning to spend a little longer than you would typically plan for.

SUCH POTENTIAL!! We came in for Sunday brunch and were seated immediately. Unfortunately our table hadn’t been bussed yet but the nice host quickly took care of that. We sat on the upstairs patio and the view was amazing especially when paired with the old timey jazz music, the ambiance was perfect. And that’s about where all the compliments stop. It took 20 minutes before a waiter came to our table and he took our drink order by yelling across the room while he was checking out another table. We were only given one set of silverware which we politely asked multiple time for a second set that was never given. I ended up having to go downstairs but there was a table covered in unrolled silverware that seemed to be the only option. The food finally came out and the first few bites were delicious. Unfortunately, I realized a bite in that my bacon, egg, and cheese croissant had no cheese on it. I was going to say something but the waiter never came and checked on us for the entire duration of our meal and then some. This was our first time here so I don’t know if it was an off day but it seemed SEVERELY understaffed and a really nice location and view was ruined by an inattentive staff.

Beautiful location! Attentive staff. Food is to die for. Large portions. We had our third bridal luncheon here this past weekend and it was amazing as always. We got our favorite, fountain inn salad, and ordered their strawberry cake (most delicious cake ever!). This is the second luncheon that Lauren has coordinated for us and it’s always a breeze with her help. Kent and James are both lovely. You can’t go wrong with this location and staff!
