Oak & Fire

Oak and Fire hits the nail on the head and we will be back again soon! The restaurant has switched gears to a more relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity to order up front and have the food brought to your table. You clean up after yourself and get your own refills just like any other "order at the counter" restaurant. Definitely give the garlic knots a try as they have real chunks of garlic, come with a bowl of delicious marinara sauce, and are topped with a nice sprinkle of parmesan should you choose to add it. The burger was flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right nestled on a home made bun. The pizza options are unique for more adventurous eaters, but they have the basics, too! I ordered one with a honey glaze and oh my heavens... It was perfection. The staff were friendly and super helpful for our first time here. We will be recommending Oak and Fire to family and friends! Don't miss out on this place!

So Ill start off saying the Pizza is the only thing I have had, and its pretty good. It's in the style I prefer over the "American" pizza way . The crust is a little under/chewy in the middle which is something I enjoy but my wife not so much. The biggest issue I've seen is just the whole process. I know this is a newer restaurant and that's one reason I gave 3* instead of 2

On my first experience it was not to bad I placed order online and went to go pick up, I was 10 minutes early and had to wait but I saw the cookies and thought Id try one but I could not pick up one in "pick up line" I had to go to the "Order Line" not a big deal there was only 1 other customer there.

I did get to see interior and it feels more like a wine tasting/Bar that sells burgers and pizza then a burger/pizza restaurant that sells alcohol. The drinks did look good however and it seems like its a lot of self service. You go and pick your items, You go and get your drinks, Your serve yourself a baked good.

About a week later I placed my second order I knew I wanted a cookie but rather than ordering on site and risking them being sold out I thought ill just grab one when I pick up. Well this time when I went to pick up my pizza it was packed ( about 12 people). and again I could not buy a cookie in pickup line I had to get back inline and wait to just order a cookie.

I get having a pick up line and order line but when what appears to only be 1 girl working the front and she is trying to give exceptional customer service to who she is speaking to does not show good customer service or value of time to everyone else in line because then you are waiting on the people to order figure out what they want etc.

I feel as if your going to place a "Point of Purchase Placement" item such as baked goods next to the pick up line they should be able to buy from that line and not have to go and order again also causing there freshly picked up order to get cold causing a bad experience.

I did enjoy the pizza and hope they can improve these processes and hopefully I can change my rating.

Delicious pizza, great liquor selections in beautifully appointed dining room with optional outdoor dining. They also have fresh-baked sweet treats that smell delicious. We will come back to try the burgers!
