    I call this my favorite "fat girl " place. That says everything that needs to be said! Just don't miss out on some great south southern food!

    The greeting we received made me feel instantly at home. The hospitality is second to none. Food came out within minutes of ordering. Good spot for homestyle cooking. Kids eat free all day Saturday. Mac & cheese was delicious as was the fried chicken & sweet potato souffle.

    I've mostly had catered food from FGT. My wife loves the cream style corn, which by the way is very creamy. Green beans are usually quite good, today just a little salty. The biscuits are good, today a bit dry. For meat they usually bring fried or grilled chicken, both are good. Today they brought cheesy mashed potatoes which were very good. I've eaten in the restaurant once and it's nicely done with friendly staff. If you're in the area you should go at least once to try it for yourself.

    BTW, I don't like friend green tomatoes.
