We love Mrs. Fish. If you have no interest in contrived, tourist trap restaurants which serve frozen seafood, go to Mrs Fish. Much of the foods have a slight Asian flare, but not all. The menu is simple. The fish is extremely fresh, and most is local. The owner is a delight, and the prices are great.
Best fish and chips! 4 big pieces of fish that were thick too and not heavely breaded. Ordered off dinner menu and they had great fresh cut coleslaw too. Very Friendly Staff:) I am glad i live in Myrtle Beach because I can't wait to go back! All the dishes coming out of the kitchen, looked incredible, look forward to trying something else. Also their prices were Very Good, especially for Fresh Seafood:)
I didn't get our servers name, but she was so sweet and funny! Honestly, the location was questionable when we first arrived, but WOW their food is AMAZING and their prices make it even better!
They do serve canned drinks and the food is served on styrofoam plates, but that's completely irrelevant considering how great the food and service is.
Crab legs were only $18.99 for a whole pound, and they were SO GOOD! The meat was thick and juicy! We also had the fried shrimp appetizer with the sweet & sour pineapple sauce. It was one of the best things I've eaten in my whole life, no exaggeration. The shrimp was thick and juicy as well, and everything we were served came out HOT and fresh.
Mrs. Fish truly is a hidden gem. I'm thrilled to have found this place! If you're looking for some phenomenal seafood at a great price with fantastic service, you won't regret going here!
What a jewel we found. This place is awesome. Big portions . Party of 6 and not one complaint.. Small mom and pop place. Our Waiter was great, I'm thinking he is the owner also.. Is definitely on our revisit list.
Great fish and low prices! If you're hungry for fish, Mrs. Fish is the the place to go. We have been enjoying their fish for the last 20 years. The grilled grouper is wonderful. The crab cakes are the best. The sides are OK, but who cares when the fish is so good. When friends follow our recommendation to go to Mrs. Fish, they always thanks us. We were there again tonight and were so glad that they have opened again for the season. Mrs. Fish is off the beaten path - behind the downtown First Methodist Church - so there is never a crowd. Every time we travel home, after enjoying our dinners, we are sadden to pass by the crowded restaurant chains, knowing that so many people are missing the best fish in Myrtle Beach.
