Happy Mother's Day to me & Happy Mother's Day to you! I always get buttermilk pancakes with pecans and/or blueberries. Today i got both! I usually get regular Cracker Barrel syrup, but today I tried the Dickinson's Maine wild blueberry syrup and jar, and it was fabulous. I also went shopping in ended up with almost twice as much as I wanted to spend. But thankfully some of it is for Father's Day, so I think I got away with it.
This is one of the nicest cracker barrel's that I've ever been to. Yes, it has all the charming dacor and q things in the gift shop that you're expecting. The difference was the people. The food was, as always, top-notch. For most recent visit we went out for dessert oh, is this is our local cracker barrel. The manager himself serve me. I cannot tell you how nice all the staff was. Highly recommended!
Always great food. Consistently delicious. Reasonable prices. Great family restaurant. Would go back now, but not hungry after eating Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast. Big meal.
This Cracker Barrel was set up different from the other Cracker Barrels, in the sense that the dining room was to the right when you enter the front door. It was a smaller Cracker Barrel, but the staff & the food were awesome, as usual. There were many families & singles in the dining room. I had the Cracker Barrel sampler, which consists of ham, chicken & dumplings, meat loaf, & 3 vegetables. I chose mashed potatoes and gravy, boiled cabbage, & cooked carrots. You also get your choice of biscuits or cornbread with your meal. All for less than $10!!!!! This restaurant, like all the others, was handicap accessible, which is imperative, as I am handicapped. Cracker Barrel is one of the few restaurants that my partner & I can count on to always be handicap accessible, & for that we are extremely grateful.
You are "greeted" by an extra long front porch with inviting rocking chairs and other nostalgic items. Upon entering, someone welcomes you. The front area is a store with a large variety of items for browsing and shopping. Many are interesting and unique items such as nostalgic candy and soft drinks. The menu includes items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices are average and the selection is good. The large wood-burning fireplace is inviting with the nostalgic aroma of burning hickory. Overall, it is a very nostalgic dining experience.
