Its improved a lot since last time there. Better choice on the buffet. Food was fresh,hot and good tasting. Will go back again. Friendly staff.
The food is good, if they can manage to get your order correct. Out of approximately the last 10 timed that I've been to this location, my order has only been right once. Ever since the manger who had been there for years stopped working in the evenings, the service has become horrible. The food isn't cheap, but I wouldn't complain if they would just give me what I ordered. The only reason I go there is because it's the closest location to my home, and they have the best hamburgers.
Would rate it 5 stars if the prices were not so exhorborant. Food is always great but it is very pricey. The gold sauce is gold for a reason and that must be it.
Great food at a truly Southern Barbecue. Good, simple southern food. Expect to pay 15 per person for their all-you-can eat buffet and drinks. They had pulled pork, ribs, friend chicken, fried pork chops and much more.
I was looking for great SC mustard based BBQ. Unfortunately this is average at best. Portions are ok, but not what I would consider generous, especially for what you pay. If you don't like mustard based sauce, stay away. EVERYTHING is cooked with the mustard sauce. With that said, the sauce itself isn't bad, though it's a bit sweeter than I prefer in this style. I got a 3 meat combo with pork, ribs, and brisket. Everything was served sorta-warm, nothing was hot. The meats were somewhat tough and the brisket was quite dry. Pork was probably the best of the lot, but still unremarkable. The rub on the brisket was decent, but again the meat was tough and somewhat dry.
