Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I wish I had enjoyed this place more. I thought it would be like Steak and Shake but the burgers, which were supposed to be doubles, were extremely flat, smashed down to almost nothing and hanging like a curtain over the bun. I asked for a hamburger with everything except cheese and there was only mustard and onion on the burger along with a pickle. The fries are very similar to steak and shake fries. It was pricey for what we got, 2 number 1 combos, no cheese for over $15.00. Sorry, but I won't be hurrying back.

Had it for the first time when I went here. The patties are very thin, which might be a downside to some but is awesome to me, since the meat gets a fantastic Browning and crispiness without loosing any flavor or juciness. Fries follow a similar style of being extremely thin (A-la potato straws you can get in cans) that were also a huge hit with me, would definitely recommend!

We've eaten here before and had the same pleasant experience. The burgers were well dressed, but if you want a thick, medium patty, this might not be your place. Patties are pressed thin and cooked through. Even so, very tasty. Love the shoestring fries. I chose mine with chili, cheese, and onions. Delicious. Enough to share, easily.
I will be back.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I tried the fish sandwich. It is two small pieces of fish rather than one large piece. Tasted fine, but, if I got it again, I would get it with tartar sauce rather than Freddys sauce. I also think it needs some lettuce or cheese. It isn't as filling as the hamburgers. Dessert was delicious as always.

Freddy's has good burgers, very tasty! The shoestring fries dipped in 3 of their house made sauces - including a hot sauce was a nice change from the other fast food restaurant fries. But that ice cream sundae - so good!
The hot dogs were really good too. Freddy's is a nice little soda-pop shop kind of place - I wish they had a 60's jukebox in there - it would fit in perfectly. There is plenty of seating and outdoor seating is available too.
