Best Mexican restaurant in town
Mi Tipico has closed and reopened as La Fogata. Some of the old menu items Ruth makes are still available, but they have added an Americanized menu now as well. I have no interest in the new items, they are the same as other American-Mexican places in town. Stick to the more authentic items on the old menu.
I was impressed at how clean it was.
The people are very friends.
It's a family business so even the kids helped take care of customers. They were polite.
I had Mexican tacos. They were excellent!!
All the food was very good. The salsa was a bit different than I'm used to but it too was delicious. I topped it off with unset tea.
Ordered a quesadilla to go. Wasn't expecting lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream on it though. The price was comparable too the other Mexican restaurants around town but i liked the food better.
Excellent food and excellent service.
A must try! Excellent, authentic, enjoyable food. Menu is overwhelming and could be formatted for better understanding, but the waitress we had listened to what we were looking for and was helpful in directing us to like items on the menu. Decor isn't much, but the food makes up for it. Service was very good for a Friday night. Hope the word gets out that this place is a keeper.
