The cupcake itself was very moist not dry wonderful and itself but the icing is absolutely perfect not too sweet but I will drive 10 miles out of my way to go get these cupcakes the next time I'm in the area. “Great hot chicken red beans and rice and nice friendly service. That's what I was expecting when I got off the highway to visit this time. I was there two weeks ago, although the food was good, the atmosphere was horrible, an employee was(green shirt)yelling at another employee. I mean it was so loud that the manager in white shirt went to the back to try to get green shirt to lower her voice but green shirt got louder I was with another young man and there was another set of people a man and a woman we looked at each other with disgust...we didn't come for that I had ordered an additional item or two when I went to the counter she was standing there I asked her three 3times for a bag she heard me say that three times she ignored me. I had been driving for 6 hours I needed a break from traffic but I got more than I wanted that day and ignored...I explained to another employee that I would write a review...she was a little afraid asked me not to...it appears that the manager green shirt is some sort of a bully and everyone is afraid of her...but oh no not me not at all something needs to be done about this person, people shouldn't have to work in this type of environment, I saw several people in green shirts. Just to clarify she was of a darker complexion about five two very big mouth with a threatening attitude..she needs to be terminated”

“The Caribbean Pork Loin was out of this world today. I love how on Sunday's they try to switch it up. They are always coming up with something good. The stuffed pork chops were also so great a few weeks ago. This is a great southern family atmosphere. And I can't forget to mention the lemon pie I tried today. I usually go with the banana pudding, tho. All homemade by the way! Can you say, "Wow"? Hard to find around Orangeburg. Keep it up. ????”

“Excellent dinner tonight! I had the scallops & hubby had the pork medallions. Hush puppies are the best ever! Sweet potato fries very sweet and crispy, brown rice yummy! A cold beer for him & a nicely chilled glass of pinot for me. No room for dessert but chose an apple cobbler to go...had a taste when we got back to our hotel, will definitely enjoy it warmed tomorrow. Our waitress Leisha was very attentive and sweet. A great place to eat if you want to get away from all the chains!”

The coating is crispy and delicious. I wish they had biscuits because they would pair well. The BBQ chicken is pretty good and the hush-puppies are extremely tasty.
