Oh. My. Gosh. I had been on the road over 9 hours when I arrived in Columbia. Ristorante Divino was within walking distance of my downtown hotel and turned out to be the perfect spot for me! I was immediately seated at a cozy table for one. Nice wine and cocktail list, but I opted for a Scotch, Oban 14, to start.
Seared scallops, perfectly prepared on a bed of beet root risotto and braised spinach. Gorgeous presentation, hot and delicious! Ended the meal with my personal kryptonite - tiramisu. Creamy, rich, with a wonderful texture. Servers were very pleasant and attentive during a busy dinner hour.
Higher-end, relaxing ambiance. Would be a great date night. This chef and staff know what they're doing!
Love the atmosphere of this place. The $11 salad was good but not worth anybody's $11.
I normally get the lamb chops and last night was not exception, but their signature dish was very disappointing, very poor quality meat.
Excellent experience each time I have been. The service is phenomenal and the food even better. This is a great spot for a high quality meal in a quiet, upscale atmosphere in downtown Columbia.
Excellent Italian restaurant!. Italian restaurants are all over the place, but this one is a real good one specialized in North Italian food. This place is perfect if you want to impress your date for a dinner meal, quiet and dimly lit with top-notch service. And the food is delicious. I highly recommend this place for Italian food lovers, or just food lovers.
