Our first time dining here. Why did I wait so long?! Food is fabulous. Even my husband was impressed, and he doesn't care for "fancy" food. A bit pricey, but I promise, you get what you pay for. I will be back.
As a Realtor I love passing along information to my clients about great places near them to try, especially restaurants. As a foodie, these have always been what I'm most eager to check out when I've had to move in the past. I get tired of the "same old stuff" on all the chain menus. It's so nice to have a place like this one that offers a good variety of different types of options for a change! The atmosphere and service was great, too.
The BEST scallops I have ever eaten. Service was excellent. The entire meal was outstanding. Menu was not large, but had enough variety for carnivores and vegetarians alike. I can recommend this place without reservation but you should not go without making one. The place is popular and busy.
Traveled to Columbia for work and was invited here for dinner, and let me tell you, I already want to go back. Service was amazing, I started off with an old fashioned. Our server sold me on it because the head barman actually selects the bourbon from the specific barrels himself! We had an amazing beet appetizer that was simple but so elegant the way it highlighted the ingredients. For the main course I had the bone-in pork chop with greens and potato puree. The food was phenomenal! You could taste the thoughtfulness and attention to each ingredient. The atmosphere is cozy, it's in an old historic building in a trending area of Columbia. Overall the vibe was energetic and purely authentic. Can't wait to come back and experience this restaurant again
Food was awesome. Fresh and delicious. Menu changes daily to be sure they r using seasonal food. Did not have a reservation so we sat at the bar. Little did we know we were waited on by the best bartender we have ever met. His name was Drake. He was able to be attentive to everyone at the bar and still help his coworkers by answering their questions. He takes great pride in his work. They seemed to have many new workers but Drake was dedicated to being sure everyone there had a great experience.
