The food is fresh and the sushi is great. It's run by one person so it can take a while, but it's worth the wait. I suggest calling in to order.

Very good lady is very sweet

Love this place! The sweetest Japanese lady seems to run the place by herself. I’m a student and have been here for three years and only recently found this place on yelp. So glad I did. It’s an awesome hole in the wall. There’s no seating as she’s the only one here and there isn’t much room for customers to be able to sit down and eat but she offers food to go.

All of her food is delicious and fresh and SO SO SO CHEAP. 3 basic sushi rolls $6.95 5 basic sushi rolls $10.95. Can’t beat that. She also has teriyaki chicken and other rice dishes as was as noodle dishes and soups. I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area. She deserves all the love and support!

So amazing! My father lived in Japan for a couple years, and I visited as a teenager, so to say I've eaten a lot of Japanese food, and eaten in a lot of Japanese restaurants in an understatement. Hands down, this is the best sushi roll I have had in the US! There is a wait, but it's one lady cooking everything, and it is so worth it! The egg drop soup is thick, rich, and delicious! The sushi roll is wrapped properly and the cook on the rice and the crab in my Spider Roll was perfection! I appreciated the fact that she was willing to adjust the roll (removed avocado) to see to my needs. I can't believe how low the prices are! I paid at least twice as much elsewhere recently, and there was no comparison! Minato was way more favorable! You HAVE to try this place!!
