    I am a lover of the Q and try to sample as many different places as possible and Maurice's was my latest find. Had the BBQ sandwich with the gold sauce which I was nervous about, until I was eyeball deep into that thing with gold sauce covering my goatee snacking my lips like a cheap cartoon coyote. Man that was good stuff and now I'm a fan. Just goes to say, try it you might like it!

    I have always loved Maurices but the one I visited the hash and rice was barely warm at best and the bread was cold. I expected better from Maurices but maybe it was the location i visited. It was about lunchtime so I expected the food to be better. My side of town is always very good. So I was a little disappointed.

    This place was excellent. The guy who took my order and brought me and my moms food to our table was real courteous and professional. And their food was Delicious. The pulled pork.Barbecued chicken. Baked beans. Hush puppies. Fried okra. All. Delicious.
