Applebee's Grill + Bar

Food was ok, service was great. Bridgett was my bartender and made me the best Manhattan I've had at a restaurant. Come in if this girl is working, she won't disappoint!

Our visit to Applebee's was fairly predictable. The host and server were polite. I ordered a build your own appetizer with soup, salad and mozzarella sticks. My mother and daughter received their salads and appetizers and mine wasn't delivered until it was almost time for their main entrees about 10-15 minutes later. What was a first was that my food was correct and not burnt. Even though I ordered appetizers they have been terrible in the past. My mother on the other hand ordered chicken parmesan. The portion size was large but the chicken was so hard that it sounded like someone knocking when she hit it with her utensils. My daughter ordered the three cheese penned which looked like they skipped the cheese altogether but she said it was decent. However the chipsnfor her spinach dip appetizer were thick, extremely hard and not appetizing at all. Usually I am the one who is dissatisfied but my meal was actually decent. I didn't have to return anything and nothing was cold or overcooked...which is why they got three stars instead of one or two.

This is my our go-to late night date night location. Seldom have any issues with the service or staff at the bar. Great conversation and love the $1 monthly drink specials.

Food was great. Better experience than I had at this location years ago. Waitress was great. I'm glad they made changes.
