Granby Grill

I would like to try this restaurant but I hesitate because of safety concerns. I wish that the owner would respond to the following post from 2 weeks ago. It deserves a response.

Lack of masks, social distancing, and lack of gloves by people preparing food are ridiculously concerning. Today’s the first day of school and I’m concerned for the students and the staff if this is how they will conduct business.

The GO-TO place for aging Columbia hipsters as well as the new, cool USC students living off-campus in the historic housing and community left via the Granby Mill legacy//circa: 1920's/pre-TOLL GERVAIS ST. BRIDGE. It's a safe and secure place to eat & social very well.

Family and I went to Granby Grill last night to have dinner and listen to some good music. We were not disappointed. The fries were strongly recommended and they were as good as promised. I had the fish camp and it hit the spot. My son had the chicken and pancakes. The chicken fingers were so good that I will be ordering that next time.

Atmosphere was great. The DJ set the mood with an eclectic mix served at the perfect volume. Staff was friendly. Several of which were old friends I haven’t seen in a long time. That always makes for an enjoyable evening. This might very well become our Sunday night spot.

Seriously the best fish and chips in SC. The food is great, the people are fabulous. It's local and they remember you like extended family members. What's not to like about this place. Great selection of local beers on draft. You can even order take out. My new go-to comfort food stop.

Great food and good atmosphere. Pinball machines!!! Cheap good beer! Shoo Covid-19 this is my fave spot!
