Copper River Grill

The restaurant is beautiful. However the food was okay. The cheese fries were good. Our salads were soggy, my steak was dry and could have used seasoning. My husband's stuffed shrimp was good but said his fish was stringy. He really liked the cheesy mash potatoes. Little pricey for the quality.

Mixed review, I've had years of great food and service and been completely happy with every visit until recently. My husband ordered a Pittsburgh style steak. Instead of the cook admitting he didn't know how to cook Pittsburgh style, he sent out his version of it. It wasn't even close and it was not good.. We told the waiter, he left and came back and said the manager told him they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't offer Pittsburgh style and we had already eaten some of it. My husband ate a bite anf then I did to confirm it was not fit to eat. They wouldn't take it back and bring something else unless we paid for it too. This is a place we used to frequent at least once a week for lunch and at least once a week for dinner. Hundreds of visits. We haven't been back since. Management didn't have enough concern to visit the table nor do what it takes to keep a customer. There are plenty of other restaurants and we won't be back. The Founder, Jimmy Rogers rest his soul, would not have tolerated this.

Great place to gather with friends or family. Attentive and friendly service. Wide selection of entries. The salmon and chicken sandwiches are delicious. The black and blue salad with steak had a little bit of everything! We shared some She Crab soup, which was very good. Good prices.
