Los Mayas Mexican Grill Lyman

I went here with my family to celebrate my dad’s birthday.

My family and I have been looking for a Mexican restaurant that reminds of Sagebrush back home. We saw that this restaurant opened up recently, so we decided to give it a try.

I got the Birria Tacos, my dad ChoriPollo and my mom got the #8 Combo. The Birria Tacos were great, offering good flavor and texture. They could’ve used more filling, though. My dad enjoyed his ChoriPollo, although he mentioned that it could use a bit more chorizo (he’s a chorizo nut) and my mom also enjoyed her #8 Combo, but the actual chile rellano was small and she wished condiments like sour cream and fresh vegetables like tomato and lettuce were offered on the side.

Overall, this restaurant is very tasty and definitely worth a try if you’re in the Inman/Lyman area.

NOTE: Parking for this restaurant is extremely limited, so if you do plan to come here, arrive early. Otherwise, finding a parking spot will be difficult. Also, if you’re paying with credit card, there a 3-4% fee automatically applied.

Very nice colors and decor, bright and clean inside. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Was seated and immediately greeted by our server. Free chips & mild or hot salsa!! We had the Texas fajitas. A plate full of steak, chicken, and shrimp with rice, beans and lettuce bowl. It also came with two flour tortillas. The food was very good and excellent prices for the amount of food. We also had the sopapilla dessert. Very good!

This place is beautiful! They have a salsa bar. Salsa is fresh and filled with flavor. Ordered cheese dip lunch #3 and chicken quesadillas with rice. Everything tasted great and will be returning. Definitely check it out!
