Excellent food and great service. Glad the wait at nearby place was so long. Hope you have the same "misfortune" or just go here to begin with! I'll be back and telling others to eat here.

After a long hike I was craving Mexican and margaritas. My dinner companion suggested this place and I said “yes!,” and I’m so glad I did. Great location and extremely personable owner. She explained her menu in detail, made recommendations, previewed for us upcoming specials and offered us an opportunity to try them early, in addition to regularly checking in with us to see how we were enjoying the meal. The empanadas were large, fresh and well seasoned! The jumbo breaded shrimp were great. I highly recommend the wine margaritas! Finally, while mini cakes as a Mexican/Ecuadorian restaurant might sound like an odd ending to a fantastic international meal—trust me: go for it! She makes her desserts in house and her lemon mini cake was amazing. I’ve been telling all my friends about it and I can’t wait to get back!

There's a new restaurant in Spartanburg! It's so obvious that the owners love what they're doing, & they also do everything possible to please their customers! The food is excellent, obviously prepared with TLC and expertise by the Owner/Chef, tastefully plated, and efficiently served by eager-to-please staff! We're so glad we stopped by, and we'll be back often for sure!!

The most awesome experience we have had at a restaurant in a long time.
Both the owner and her husband (chef) came to our table for detailing the food served. We got a preview taste of the potato salad they are going to offer, and will be getting this in large containers. The empanadas were amazing! My wife had the lentils and rice, and liked it very much, too! All freshly cooked! We will definitely be coming back to try more of the Ecuadorian fair that this restaurant is offering. Oh, and the fruit juices were amazingly refreshing and tasty. (No sweet tea, so don't ask, as this is not a normal drink served on their country.)

We had heard great things about La Tablita. We ate there tonight and were not disappointed. The owner came to our table told us about the menu and gave us great suggestions. Very friendly staff, great good and very fast service. We will be back. Highly recommend!
