Country Boys Steak & Brisket

Had a most enjoyable dinner at Country Boys tonight including the salad bar, a brisket dinner and beef tips dinner. The food came out hot and just as ordered, including medium rare beef tips. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh. Our waitress Izzy was charming and made sure our tea glasses were always full. All in all a great dinner and we will definitely eat there again.

My wife and I had a great meal at Country Boys Steak & Brisket this evening. The food was excellent. I had beef tips and my wife had chicken tips. Both entrees were delicious! Their home fries are to die for. They are similar to Five Guys' french fries, but better. The collards were perfectly done. And, the salad bar was outstanding---everything was fresh and delicious. And our waitress, Destiny, was wonderful. She greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile and did a great job. Prices were decent, as well. We will definitely return soon!

First let me get this out of the way. I want to support small businesses. I go out of my way to Patron small businesses.

I'm in the restaurant business and graduated culinary school.

That being said, there are certain things shouldn't have to be said. For example:

Asparagus stalks need to be trimmed properly before cooking. The base of the stalk is inedible.

If the word "brisket" in the name of your restaurant, the brisket should be moist and pink and delicious.

No I did not bring this up to my server as I was very hungry and consumed my food. It's also not the waitresses responsibility to cook the food.

Limiting someone to ONE trip to the salad bar after they paid for an entree is pure comedy.

The wait staff was very polite, clean, and professional.

The facility, while clean... had nasty sticky ketchup bottles on the tables and child booster seat that hasn't been cleaned since the 90s.

This review reflects my opinion based on today's visit. I may update my review in the future if I ever try this establishment again.

We had a party of 6, and all of our plates came out at the same time.

I had the philly cheese steak, and it was delicious, definitelyrecommend it. Home fries are fresh cut and great as well.

My friend and I went to Country Boys today for the first time. We both ordered the brisket and thought it was very good! She loved her fries and I loved my collard greens. We shared a delicious slice of moist red velvet cake. Yum! Everyone was so friendly and nice. Our waitress, Randi Lynn, had only been there training for three days, but she was great!! She was so polite and friendly and we definitely want her to be our server again. The place was nice and clean. We will be going back!
