Towne Tavern At Fort Mill

Had a nice Friday night dinner at the TT. The Blue Ribbon Fish and Chips was very good.

A year ago we found this sports bar on line. We had spent a very active day and were looking for a place that was close and had good reviews. Town Tavern more than filled te bill. On the strength of our previous experience we stopped into Town Tavern again. Nothing has changed --it's still a very enjoyable place with great food, fast service, friendly wait staff and atmosphere. The adult beverages were delivered fast and cold. We had an order of chicken wings that were hot & delicious. We followed that with a chicken cob salads. Wonderful dressings and lots of chicken. This place continues to be a home run.

I ordered a steak salad with rare steak. It did come looking rare, but was not even warm, as it was so rare, it did not have time to get hot on the grill , after leaving the refrigerator. I took it home to cook and eat a day later.
The salad was ok, if you ignore the wilted lettuce included with the good stuff. (not wilted from the steak being hot, as it was not).

About 10 couples went to the Towne Tavern for lunch after an installation and were greeted promptly with a table already set up. The food was great as usual and everyone was served quickly considering our large group.

If you are looking for a great neighborhood, absolutely friendly environment, this is where you need to try. Great place to watch all your favorite teams. Great service, amazing prices. I have been searching for a Haddock fish fry for 3 yrs and it was a happy surprise that the have it on there daily menu and it was perfectly done. Bartender Haleys service was exceptional!!! I will be back again and again.
