“I really enjoyed myself at The Royal Cigar Bar & Bistro. We arrived just as they opened on a Saturday, and the owner and staff gave us the Royal treatment! This is a black owned and family operated business located just 5 minutes from Carowinds. This is a membership only lounge offering a carefully selected variety of cigars that are properly stored to maintain for freshness. They did have a decent menu selection of sandwiches and wings, and the drinks were great. Overall, I had a great time. If you are interested, I would definitely suggest the membership. It's definitely worth the value!”

“Expectations weren't high when I heard a while ago that this place was going to open. I thought it would be similar to all the other NY pizza places in the area which don't vary too much. I'm glad I was wrong. This is the best pizza in Fort Mill and it's not even close. It's possibly the best in the Charlotte area. They expected to do a soft opening but word spread quick about the pizza and wings. They were a little overwhelmed at first but have since gotten on track. I've had the plain cheese pizza, the wings, and a margherita pizza, all of which were great. It all starts with the dough for good pizza and they don't rush it since properly proofed dough takes time. Pizzas are made in real Baker's Pride ovens and have a great texture. Prices are very reasonable. Dine-in is counter service with about a dozen tables and a nice bar. It's modern with out being hipster or trendy.”

“We ate here two nights ago and absolutely loved it! The staff was great, the pizza was absolutely delicious, the kids loved the ice cream and the atmosphere was so family friendly. I do wish they had a kids menu option so we didn’t have to order a larger pizza for our two kids as well as a kids drink option but we’ll definitely be back! Highly highly recommend the zucchini fried sticks and the “honey-roni” pizza!”

“Truly a great place with my new favorite ice cream flavor, Cinnamon! Ryan at the register was so kind and friendly! The staff puts out orders in an instant, and this place has a wonderful small-town feel. It’s outside and drive thru only with only two benches for seating, so be ready to stand outside to wait for your cone! There are so many great flavors to choose from, and they even offer a pup cup for the doggos! We’ll be back!”

“I would like to see how it is once this place settles in. Loved the building and staff and location is great. Ice cream and fried were delicious. My partner got the spicy sandwich and it was INSANELY hot. She couldn’t eat it. We had to take it back unfortunately. I got a bossy with cheese and while the taste was good the breading kept falling off the chicken. Maybe we will give it another go later on.”

“Staff were super nice. I usually don’t stop on road trips but I decided that it wouldn’t hurt to get me some bojangles for the road. The young man in the drive through was so sweet and they had my food out super quick. The food was hot, crispy, fresh, and delicious. I will be returning as I had an amazing experience. I’m not sure if all of the other reviews are from different employees working, but from my experience all of the employees were kind, helpful, and had amazing teamwork.”

“Sushi were absolutely delicious. Lychee not a sake in sake section was really delicious. All sushi with eel were amazing, we didn’t even need soy sauce, from regular eel sushi to pressed sushi those were absolutely amazing. It can be really loud, I wouldn’t recommend it for a date night, but friend night is 100 % need to check it out !”

“I'm going to be honest. Sometimes they get your order wrong when it's really busy there, and or never answer the phone because everyone goes here. Other than that they are closed on Tuesday. The food is amazing (my regular is a Bacon, Egg, and cheese, add cream cheese on a Kiser roll. Not toasted.) They make everything fresh off the grill. The food is never cold unless you ask it to be or order a cold cut. They have reasonable prices. New deals every week. The staff is very family oriented and the business is family owned. They treat everyone like family and remember names and faces making you feel welcome and at home every time.”

Same staff so nice to see friendly faces, but a little disappointing to lose the local Thursday hang out spot and specials, not to mention Lake Wylie Brewing Co.’s great beers. “My husband and I dined at Poppyseed kitchen for the first time this morning. Our server, I believe her name was Amelia, was wonderful, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious! We shared the ranch hash (eggs on the side), the pancake, a biscuit with homemade jam and the side poppyseed salad. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the food quality and taste to the portion size. We could tell that they really care about the food and service they provide. I highly recommend checking them out for breakfast, lunch or just a quick snack to go as their pastries also looked amazing. Thank you for a great experience, Poppyseed kitchen! “I met the owner and he was attentive and engaging through my time there. I order 6 Cajun ranch wings and fries. The fries were outstanding, the flavor on the wings as well.
