Emilio's Pizza Kitchen

Expectations weren't high when I heard a while ago that this place was going to open. I thought it would be similar to all the other NY pizza places in the area which don't vary too much. I'm glad I was wrong. This is the best pizza in Fort Mill and it's not even close. It's possibly the best in the Charlotte area.

They expected to do a soft opening but word spread quick about the pizza and wings. They were a little overwhelmed at first but have since gotten on track. I've had the plain cheese pizza, the wings, and a margherita pizza, all of which were great. It all starts with the dough for good pizza and they don't rush it since properly proofed dough takes time. Pizzas are made in real Baker's Pride ovens and have a great texture.

Prices are very reasonable. Dine-in is counter service with about a dozen tables and a nice bar. It's modern with out being hipster or trendy.

Very cute pizza shop with a bar which is located 8n Kinsley. The owners and family are super nice and from the East Coast. If you are looking for authentic NY pizza, try them out. The girl at the bar was very nice too. See photos.

I’ve had the wings and pizza a few times. The wings are fried and rolled in the sauce. It’s nice and crispy, not soggy or rolled in batter like other places. Pizzas are excellent. The Don Ho and White pizza are fantastic! The dough is “chef’s kiss”. The staff are always friendly and courteous, even when they are busy. Looking forward to see them grow!
