Our server Hector was awesome. We had steak tacos which came with corn tortillas, Spanish rice and beans. Lamb chops that came with mashed potatoes and corn. So flavorful, tender and had me wanting more. Tried the burro mule and a margarita. If I come back through I will definitely make this a stop on my list. Everyone here was genuinely and friendly.
Great food, great service, very warm and welcoming environment. The chips n salsa were very good before we got our food. Open doors to enjoy the fresh air, and wonderful food. Everything was cooked perfectly, excellent presentation of the food as well. I’d highly recommend trying anything on the menu!
Custer is a small town. Small towns can be scary for those with food allergies. No worries at the Begging Burro! The full menu offers many dishes not seen at chain mechanics restaurants and the meals feel homemade. This restaurant has a fun atmosphere and is impeccably decorated. The servers and staff were all super friendly and kind. The cocktails are unique and tasty. Best of all- ask about the story of the restaurants name. What a cool piece of history and even cooler way to commemorate it. After dining here it's on our list to revisit!
A great experience, the staff were quick to seat and serve us. The food came out quickly, and it was presented very well. Never before have I been served a burrito and my first thought was "Wow, did I walk into 5 star restaurant? This dish is beautiful!" Everything was delicious and my experience was very enjoyable.
Loved this place! After a day of hiking my husband and I got into town late. This was the only place we could find open. And what am incredible surprise!! We both ordered a different salad and it was so delicious, fresh and had yummy dressings on both. We were seriously blown away and so thankful for the find. The service was also spectacular! Everyone was so nice and friendly.
