Closed for the Season - Sage Creek Grille

Sage Creek Grille is a quaint restaurant in downtown Custer with solid food. Service was good, ambiance was cozy and our food overall was an enjoyable experience. We had the Mohammara to start, and while it says on the menu it’s spicy, I would call it more sweet. The overwhelming flavor is more curry than spicy. We also ordered the Asian Shrimp & Rice and Cajun Fettucini. The Shrimp and Rice was spicy with a strong lemongrass flavor. The fettuccini was our best dish. Sauce was wonderful, vegetables were cooked perfectly and the noodles were Al dente. The one thing missing from this dish is a piece of crusty bread to eat with the pasta sauce. Would visit again!

The standard of service and attention to detail with everything from refilling a glass to cleaning off tables between customers was amazing, far far above average! We had the walnut and blue cheese appetizer to start and it was fantastic!

Best restaurant food we had in 3 weeks time! Finally some fish (salmon). Good quality!
This after 3 weeks of travel through 5 States…

We stopped for lunch with our family of six. Everyone loved the food and the service was excellent. All of our entrees were perfect. The burgers were tasty and well seasoned the salad was fresh. I added the grilled salmon, which was a great choice. The youngest child got cheese pizza and he liked it. 10/10! Hope to stop again some day.
