Laughing Water Restaurant

We visited in October with a bus group (28 people) for dinner. First we were thrilled that they would accommodate us for dinner even though they closed earlier to the public.

The view was absolutely beautiful and as the sun went down, the memorial became even more stunning. 🤩

The food was delicious and almost everything we enjoyed that night was made from scratch. The staff was extremely friendly and service was top-notch. We were treated like royalty. 👑💖

When we left, the security guard who closed down the memorial gave each of us a rock that was removed during construction on that day. What a great personal touch!

Every thing from the moment we arrived to the time we left was professional and personable.

From the entire bus load we want to say thank you so much for having us. It was a highlight of our tour.

This is a really nice restaurant. We came here for a late lunch/early dinner. They had more generalized food, like chicken tenders and full buffet and more cultural food like stew made with Buffalo meat and Indian tacos. Our waiter was prompt especially when it came to refilling our kids’ juice cups. My Indian taco was tasty and aesthetically pleasing, however I asked for no beans and was not granted this request and my belly was doing some flops later. Which is the only reason for my 4-stars.

The wait was short (only one couple in front of me on a Friday). The staff was great and helpful (decided to hold off on too much food at first because I was told how big my food). The food was great all around! Definitely recommend!

It was amazing, food wasn't anything complicated but it was mouth wateringly delicious 😋 Me and my dad had the stew and by gosh it was perfect and warmed us right up, mom got the Indian taco thing which was good too! The Indian bread was phenomenal too, light sweetish without being distracting, and had some amazing texture to it, had to order some for desert too! This is all without even mentioning the view that we where able to see of Crazy Horse, and the environment inside was very warm, and authentic.

The food was a bit disappointing. We got their specialties with the fry bread. It wasn't bad, but far from special. The worst part about the experience were the flies. They're abundant and a constant nuisance. All over the uncovered all you can eat buffet, which we certainly weren't going to touch. I would say to not come hungry.
