I had an amazing time staying there for my birthday night. We snowmobiled on the property during the day then stayed at the lodge that night and it was sublime 👌🏽. Would definitely recommend and would go back in a heartbeat. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. I was so enamored with the place that I honestly didn't take enough pictures. The room had a microwave, fridge and lovely fireplace.
We rented snowmobiles for the day and the experience was next level! Very professional and fast to get you going on the trails. The check-in process is impressive with digital scanning of credentials and a short safety video. Even though it was super busy, Scott and his crew were all upbeat and seemed just as excited as the riders going out and made sure that you were educated on safety and trained on the machines. I highly recommend Spearfish Canyon Lodge and the snowmobiles were great! Thanks for everything guys. We'll see you next time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We reached the Spearfish Canyon Lodge, a little bit away from the city, on a wet and rainy day. The friendly welcome and warmth was very nice. They have a very scenic location and beautiful lobby. Nice hiking trail right behind the hotel. Rooms were clean. Restaurant had pretty good food and service was excellent. Overall great location and a good place to stay if you you are traveling through this way.
Had a wonderful stay last weekend with a dusting of snow. The location is why one books. The rooms are nice, just not luxurious, particularly in the accessories such as the pillows and sheets, otherwise a nice room. It is so quiet at night. There were wine glasses for use, the fire place was such a treat in the suite. The trails that start at the lodge are very convenient. The Latchstring Restaurant across the street, while a little on the higher price ticket side, has fine food and has amazing service. Driving into town would have cost probably more in gas. Overall, wonderful place to stay.
One of our favorite places. Affordable, beautiful setting. Was disappointed my room didn't include robes and black bear like they used to. Great dining adjacent..bar in lodge with fabulous fireplace. Gift shop was a bit light with sizes. Great trails..hiking, four-wheeling and snowmobiling from lodge
