    I wanted to go somewhere for a steak with my brother and his girlfriend and didn't want to go to a chain restaurant. I looked up steak houses near our hotel and found the Monarch. We had supper there . Tom and Kent took care of us and we had a great meal. It is in a small town of 200 and we were so glad we came here to eat....

    Our steaks were great and it was so nice to have a self-serve salad bar again! Everything on the salad bar was fresh and delicious. Service was good. Tables are spaced apart enough that we didn't feel too crowded. The Monarch feels like a hidden gem, and it is very quick to get to from Sioux Falls. In addition to the dining room, you can sit and eat on the bar side. The bar side has a casino area and also has karaoke sometimes on Saturdays.

    The bartenders are beautiful and older and expirienced!! They helped me find my drink and my shot. I had no idea what was good karaoke with Darin was great
