Hill City Café

This place is AMAZING. We stopped by for breakfast after visiting Mt. Rushmore and we’re immediately greeted with the friendliest of staff. The place looks like your local ma and pa cafe—and the food tastes like your grandmother made it! My boyfriend and I both got the chicken fried steak and man…I don’t even know where to start. It was massive. It was homemade. It was delicious. We both left with full, happy bellies. So wish we were from the arena because we would visit this spot all the time!

Nice little local bar that is part of the Cafe actually. Bar is small but lots of indoor seating.

They have all you can eat ribs, salad bar and full menu. Staff is great and friendly.

Like I said I thought this was a bar restaurant but really it's the Cafe with a small bar attached. Either way cool place to grab a beer, dinner or both.

Great service and the food came out quickly. The kids really enjoyed their food. My steak was alright, but was not cooked medium rare like ordered. It was well done.

Cute little cafe in town. Waitress was pleasant and food came out quickly. I got the breakfast burrito and my husband got eggs. My burrito and the omelette were both delicious. My only complaint is with the hash browns. They didn’t seem to have any flavor, just the potatoes.

The staff was friendly, the food was AMAZING! The Buffalo burger was cooked to PERFECTION, it wasn't dry like most places. The strawberry rhubarb pie had amazing flavor as well. I purchased 2 caramel rolls and can't wait to try them tomorrow. Thank you for a great experience on vacation. I will definitely come back.
