Hana | Japanese/Korean Grill & Sushi Bar

Food was very good. Some of it eclectic mix of Korean and Japanese. Nigiri was good. Monkey Brains fried avocados were like a Korean version of something similar to scotch egg style, I loved it.
Server didn't know the menu, some appetizers were missed, and was wondering about some of the fish we got, but it was all great.
The chopstick wall of personal stix was like a mug club at a brewery!
Pleasantly surprised and unexpected in Rapid City.

We had yakisoba and chicken teriyaki, very pleased with both. Excellent miso (authentic), kimchi good. Salad dressing was quite gingery and sweet. Casual atmosphere and staff. Private rooms available.

The food was good and I now have a new favorite wine! The Hoshi Plum Moscato was absolutely delicious! The only complaint was that our waiter was quite obviously drunk; sluring his words and smelling of liquor. He happily told us he's usually a maintenance guy. I'm sure they're just desperate for help. It wasn't super pleasant but wasn't the worst possible experience for our 10 year anniversary. I'd still recommend the place. We got an appetizer sampler, Yakasuki (we think), a spring roll, Philly roll, and Cherry blossom roll to go with the wine and a beer.

Greeted by friendly, helpful staff. They were very helpful, answering our questions and describing the food. We had smoked salmon and avocado sushi rolls and a bulgogi bento box. All the food was delicious at a good price. I will definitely return on my next visit to the Rapid City area!
