Great overall place! Fast serving, friendly customer service. The food is always made in front of you and very delicious!
Highly recommended
Loved this Oak Ridge food institution. Entering is like going back in time 40 years. My daughter and I shared a pimento cheese sandwich and a turkey club. The pimento cheese was homemade. Both sandwiches were excellent. Two members of our party had hamburgers and really liked them. We shared a chocolate fudge cake (also completely homemade) between us and found that one or two bites of the rich dessert was very satisfying. They also serve daily specials (meat and vegetables) which our server recommended we try next time. Good food and a fun lunch!
Today a buddy and I drove over from Maryville for breakfast. It is a well lit
and neat, older establishment. The
smiles and friendliness of the staff
put us at ease and within a couple of minutes we were waited on. Coffee was
good and fresh. Refills were often. Eggs
were perfectly fried, as was
the bacon and sausage. 2 biscuits and gravy topped off the meal. Makes me
hungry just thinking about that meal. Good place to eat. Definitely will visit
and eat there again. Prices very reasonable.
found a small diner, a hidden gem in a town i have lived in for almost 4 years, i wish we would have found this place sooner. the service was great and very polite, prompt and courteous with a rowdy 4 year old. loved it, will return as often as possible for their amazing breakfast
A friendly place to eat where the locals hang out. Interesting menu items such as the Fat Man cheeseburger, named after the Fat Man bomb developed at Oak Ridge. Generous portions, friendly service and a homey atmosphere. I had the Fat Man cheeseburger and fries and my husband had the catfish and collard greens. Both were very good and I would definitely eat there again.
