    best food and service in the area that I have had so far. always welcoming, friendly, and polite. the food is always fresh and makes me wanting more.

    Went with friends to try Cynthia's River Bistro. What a delightful find! A great menu but the salad and lunch bar had a nice variety of options so I tried small amounts of everything. The food was superb. I especially liked the pork dish w peaches. Our server, who was great, suggested Cynthia's home made carrot cake w/Dickel glaze. It was yummy too. We were able to chat with Cynthia and the chef. I always like knowing who is preparing the food and both are committed to quality and customer satisfaction. This will soon be a popular spot by word of mouth. Limited days open at this time. Charming old 2-story building, relaxing atmosphere, interesting antique pieces are displayed for sale too. Normandy is a very short scenic drive from Tullahoma. We'll do this again! Thanks for a lovely lunch experience!
