The Anchor

We haven't had the chance to dine in, but we order almost weekly from The Anchor. We love the food and have probably tried almost everything off the menu. We noticed our portions were smaller one day and we messaged the owner. He spoke with the kitchen staff and ever since, we have received the same great portions that we have become accustomed to! The owner does care about his restaurant and was very responsive in handling our "complaint". Really can't even say it was a complaint as the food is always fabulous! We are so happy to have great food close by and an owner who cares!

Great Food, generous portions, seems like a great place to hang and have a beer and a bite!

Do not get the Philly cheese steak it was so salty I could not eat it. But the other food was good

Underwhelming. Service was pretty good. They forgot about our appetizer entirely. When they brought our entrees, we asked about the appetizer and then they took quite a while to deliver it. Burger was fairly good. A little over cooked, and not very much lettuce or tomato, but not tough or dry. Fries weren't great... Not fresh cut, probably frozen. Tasted like they'd been sitting under heat lamp a while. Overall, food was okay. I feel like if they lowered prices a little, the food quality would make more sense. Mediocre food like this should only be maybe 6 or 7 bucks for a burger and fries. With a little better food, or at lowers prices this place could really rock. The location is really cool sitting with a beer watching the the lake - nothing beats that.
