“We haven't had the chance to dine in, but we order almost weekly from The Anchor. We love the food and have probably tried almost everything off the menu. We noticed our portions were smaller one day and we messaged the owner. He spoke with the kitchen staff and ever since, we have received the same great portions that we have become accustomed to! The owner does care about his restaurant and was very responsive in handling our "complaint". Really can't even say it was a complaint as the food is always fabulous! We are so happy to have great food close by and an owner who cares!”

“I go here 4-5 times a week, never had a real bad experience. Just typical wait times, foods always good but they need to learn to make a ice cream cone, every time i get a vanilla cone its tiny. I'm not one to complain but when you get 1 out of every 10 cone right that's pretty bad. My last cone looked like a 5yo made it, i was in a hurry so i didn't say anything but it had about 2 bites on the top the rest was all cone..... Horrible. That's why they got 3 and not 5 stars , I've started going to sonic paying an extra dollar but get a great 6" ice cream cone , well worth it.”

“After an unfortunate accident during my drive from California to Philadelphia, I became stranded in Knoxville waiting for my flight for 2 days. My ???? was low and I had my cat with me. The staff was very understanding and hospitable. They offered milk for my ????,and allowed me to eat and relax until my flight without equivocation. The food was delicious and the bartenders were awesome. I literally would fly back here just to eat...lol This was an gr8 experience for someone who has never been to Tennessee.”
