Pedro's Cocina Mexicana

This was my first time at this restaurant. The place looked to be very clean and well appointed. It is not your typical Mexican restaurant. First you place your order at a counter and you are given a number that will be called when your order is ready for pick up. You bus your table when you are through much like in many fast food places, however they were not fast. We (2 people) were the only ones there and we were having breakfast. The food was tasty and was large portioned. The young lady who took our order was very nice, she also brought us our food instead of us having to retrieve it. When we were through she also bussed our table for us. I don't know if she would have done this if there had been other customers to tend with. The food was a little high priced I thought, we had a breakfast burrito, huevos mexicanos, a coke and a coffee, the bill $26. Will we eat here again? Probably, because I would like to sample the lunch and dinner menus before I reach a final decision.

Went in to grab a quick lunch, excellent food and friendly staff. We ordered two fajita bowls, chips and salsa and was pleasantly surprised at the big bowl. We will definitely be going back. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

The opinions expressed in this review are mine. I will eat here again. This is an unknown gem. The taco salad and the fajita bowl were both very good. Price, while not bargain basement, was certainly not "high". Very reasonable. Staff very pleasant. Order at counter. Seat yourself. They bring your food to table. I'm not a fan of plastic silverware. Portion was larger than is healthy. Overeaters will not be dissatisfied.
Bottom line, casual eats at a fair price. No crowd to deal with.
