Ya wanna great meal? Pop into City House. Hard to find....no outside sign advertising the place, but MORE than a great find. Menu is fantastic and server knows his stuff.
We went on a Saturday night without a reservation. We were able to get seated immediately at the pizza bar. Our waitress was very kind and made great recommendations. The bread gnocchi and spaghetti were terrific. The desserts were probably the highlight of the dinner !!
Delicious food and fun vibe. We were a group of 6 and ordered several menu items to share. Everything single thing was cooked perfectly and tasted heavenly! Our waiter, Matt, assisted with selections and suggested an egg for two of the pizzas - who would have thought?!? Go with the egg!!! Especially on the meatball pie.
My mom and I went here yesterday for dinner, and in short, the entire experience was awesome. First, the seething was a nice little modernized farm house. Second, the staff was very friendly and nice. The waitress was willing to explain some of the dishes we were unfamiliar with and gave us the run down of her favorites. And lastly, the food was great! We ordered a salad as an appetizer, and then split a ham pizza and the crespelle dish. Both were great! Then we topped it off with apple pie. Overall I would highly recommend you give this place a try whether it’s family night, date night, or just looking for some good
Hands down one of the best meals I've had this year. Squash appetizer was a great start. Ham and egg pizza was cooked perfectly. If I could marry a dessert, I would have left hitched! The lemon crumble cake was amazing. I would fly back here from Denver JUST to eat here again! Also, sitting in front of the wood fired stove and watching the food being prepared gives you some pretty serious meal envy! I wanted to try everything! Guess I'll have to come back!
