This is the Nashville new restaurant I have been hoping for. Immediately upon entry a good bit before our reservation, we were greeted by a endearing and engaging bartender. In his tropical shirt and wonderful smile, he was the perfect ambassador for our visit.
We went to Folk for Date Night on a Saturday night. We were able to get 2 seats right away at the bar with no waiting and no reservation. The atmosphere was great and it is a much bigger space than it looks like from the outside.
We appreciate the large selection of vegetable options. We had the sourdough bread starter and it was great. Followed by a squash pizza and the pepper garlic pizza. We knew this would be too much food, we just couldn't decide. I thought the squash pizza was great while my wife preferred the pepper garlic.
Con: they use a lot of fancy(unnecessary) words on the menu that makes it confusing.
So we went opening night and this place was such a disappointment. But that's typically how opening nights go. Mostly the food, the service was great.
Been going back lately and they definitely have their act together. Pizza is crispy and Neapolitan, last time we are there it was soggy.
It's become a great hangout for us, and it's just so beautiful on the inside.
Food was amazing. (But the atmosphere really stole the show for me. It’s an amazing space!) Loved it all!
Very hipster trendy spot, so wear a man purse or eat with your sunglasses on ????. Food was great but pricey of course. Server was very sweet and "organic". The process took a while so be prepared to stay a little longer . Entrees were very eclectic, evolving and Chef "curated" Neighborhood is in transition, quaint but real lack of parking. Had to park two blocks away on the street, which is fine if it's not raining or you have a handicap. Great atmosphere and trendy glass front bar
