It didn't have any taste. For the price it should have been so much better. My son's garlic sticks were burnt at the bottom as well. My boyfriend had to ask for more silverware because it was not clean. My family is going to talk about me for months ????. They came from out of town looking for good pizza. They were not pleased at all. They believe they deserve 1 star but I gave them 3.
Not only was the pizza delicious (we got the buffalo chicken thin crust and cheeseburger deep dish), but the service was extraordinary.
Our server was very friendly, quick to make sure we had everything we needed, and downright lovely. I wish I remembered her name, but she was a young white woman working during the Open Mic night on 10/10/19.
The Gino's manager, Amiin, was delightful as well, and helped resolve an issue of mine with the Comedy Bar, which was most appreciated.
The staff definitely makes this a five star rating! The pizza was good, don't get me wrong, but they were really great to take care of the large party I was with. The pizza was expensive, to be sure. I did the 'thin crust' variety since deep dish isn't my thing, and it was still good. The building certainly has a personality, look at these pictures! If deep dish pizza is what you are craving, this would be a good solution.
