La Parrilla Fresh Mexican Bar & Grill

Sat at the bar, took 10 mins to get any acknowledgement by any staff (no look my way, no I will be right with you, nothing. And there were others at the bar as well.) I sit at the bar at restaurants because service is usually quicker. Also, there was no one at the host station to greet and sit patrons when I came or left so I'm not sure how I would've been sat if I didn't want to dine at the bar.
The food and drink was good though.
I had the chimi burrito and Texas margarita.
Other La Parrilla locations I've been to outside of TN usually have a similar quality of good food and drinks which is what drew me to visit this one.

I love La Parilla! It's cozy, handily attached to my favorite hotel, the food is good, and the staff are always friendly. It is one of my comfort food locations.

We're from Chicago, where the food is better than anywhere else in the country. But these tacos were no joke. Outstanding. The chicken tacos weren't soaked in ranchero sauce and that's pretty amazing for my wife to not complain about her food.

When I arrived and received the chips and Salsa I immediately anticipated the meal. I decided on a simple and easy dish (enchiladas) but also had to have a house margarita. The margarita arrived and I as fully satisfied.

Now came the main dish. Unfortunately it was a complete let down. The tortilla was dried out and there was almost no cheese in my cheese enchiladas. There were served warm at best. If it were only for the enchilada dish I would give this place a one star but because of the margarita, chips & salsa and the extremely kind and attentive staff I could not.

All this being said the prices are very fair and I would say come for the drink, staff and just don't expect much from the food. If you do that you will enjoy.
