NashHouse Southern Spoon & Saloon

😍 NashHouse is now one of my new favorite spots in Nashville. I got the Meat Loaf. Which... I know what you're thinking but man. It was 5/5 stars. I have had a lot of southern dishes but this was one of if not the best. Very unique full of flavor and large portions. We also got the pickle flight. Everything on it was absolutely superb. The best part of the whole night was the live music. The sound quality was beyond perfect and there appeared to be a gentleman walking around making adjustments to it. So it was never too loud or out of balance it was just perfect.

I was really disappointed in this place. The reviews looked great so made a reservation for brunch. Upon arrival, even with a reservation we had to wait 25 minutes for a table, our waitress was super nice and I know she wasn’t the one making our food but service was very slow and the food was just okay, I didn’t think it was anything special. I had the beyond burger- the topping got mixed up and our table also got the avocado toast which was pretty small.

The hot chicken here is excellent. I love the vibe here, as well. There is a stage in the dining area and I'm not sure if there are musical acts during the week but there are on the weekends. The breakfast is good, as well. Tried one of the many breakfast scramblers recently and enjoyed. It was pretty much a large omelet and came with a scoop of hash brown casserole. The (buttermilk) pancakes were big and the powdered sugar on top was a nice touch. Server was generally attentive. Will definitely be returning, especially to order the hot chicken again. Highly recommend.

I’m so happy we stopped in here!! Live music was one of my favorites to see. Staff was so great! Everything was really clean. Drinks were delicious!! Biscuits were so fresh & we loved trying the different types of jam. Beignets were good, definitely recommend the biscuits more though. We didn’t have the burgers, but the couple next to us did & they looked so good!!! Definitely check this place out when in Nashville!!

Catfish was great. Okra was perfect! Was walking by with someone from Washington state, and realized Southern food might be novel to them. He had the hot chicken and liked it. They had a nice draft list too. I think there were around 30 beers on tap.
