This place has great potential, but it's new and has some issues to work out. I hope it improves.

    Pros:

Unbeatable location, good patio seating, dog friendly, massive TVs (great for a sports bar), excellent people watching.

    Cons:

Service was terrible. We had to repeatedly get our server's attention. We were ignored for long stretches (at one point we wondered if our server had been sent home). Our server asked if we wanted more chips, we said yes, but no chips arrived at our table. The number of water glasses brought to the table was less than the number of people at the table. Wait staff needs better training.

Food was mixed. Totchos were a big hit and I definitely recommend that. The chips, salsa, and guac were good. I would order both again.

The options for small tacos was limited to just three, but many more options for the large tacos. The pollo al pastor was far from fresh, like it might have been under a heat lamp for an hour. It was dry and rubbery. The black beans got a thumbs down from everyone in our party, little flavor and just salty.

I'm really hopeful that improvements will be made in the problem areas because this place has fantastic potential. I really want to like this place and have a reason to come often.

If you remember the Nashville Street Taco from 2nd Ave, this is not that. I know they have the same name, branding, and seemingly the same owners, but the Street Taco of old is gone.

I came in from out of town to go back, and the food was fine, but even if I still lived in Nashville, I don't think it would be worth the journey. The people I was there with agreed, and it was only 30 minutes for them. Again, the food was fine, it is in no way bad food, it was just kind of flat. I can go to one of the deli style burrito spots near my house and get food with the same general vibe as the former Street Taco, and something with more flavor than the new Street Taco.

While there over the weekend, I was able to try the Tatchos, Chicken Crisp, and Grilled Chicken Monster Tacos personally. Someone I was with also tried the Quesabirria which looked very good, but they also were not particularly impressed. I would not recommend the Crisp, it's basically just a tostada, but boring.

If they ever decide to reintroduce elements from their old location's menu, I'll be sure to give it another try, but I don't see any draw at the moment. Their chips from before are unmatched.

Also the sweet tea... get someone with some melanin to make it, cause that was embarrassing. Tasted like sugar water with a tea infusion.

Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and was very lively on a Friday night. Unfortunately, the margarita was the worst I’ve had in my life. It seems to be premade with low quality ingredients, barely tasting like a margarita. The food is also below average with chewy chicken. As for the service, it was way below expectations and our waitress only showed up to order or bring food. We waited over 30 minutes after eating just to order the check. This restaurant has only been open less than a month, hopefully they will actually train the staff, acquire better ingredients, and improve quality. 3 stars is generous.

Nashville Street Taco is a great restaurant. My family stopped in for lunch and everyone enjoyed what we ordered. We had the Queso dip, Carné Asada Street Tacos, Cheese Quesadillas, and Kid’s Chicken Fingers. Highly recommend this place and the kids really enjoyed it too.

The good: fairly good food in terms of quality, dog friendly, lots big screens for game day, great service

The bad: huge portions that don’t allow you to try a few things or share much, no picking and choosing of multiple items since everything is big, not much of an atmosphere

Overall it was pretty average for the area and I wouldn’t go back except to watch a game.
