Otaku Ramen

Food was beyond amazing. But to get a table was ridiculous. The table waiting process was confusing and slightly frustrating. There is a sign up sheet to put your name on the waiting list, which was barely seen at first since people were standing in front of the podium where this list was. No names were crossed out in the hr+ before we had gotten there so we weren't sure how quickly the line was moving. And because it was a crowd of people waiting, we didnt know that there were instructions as to how the line was moving since they were on the floor!!! Sorry, but in a big crowd of people how is this effective and informative?? And the hostess not being communicative enough? People who got there after my party did got seated before us since they conveniently were standing in the "front of the line" since they had no choice where to stand/the line was not formed in a clear fashion. It was only after the fact that the "hostess" finally took the time to organize the crowd of people, 30min after waiting for a table. Total time waiting: ~50min. Again food was great, not happy about the waiting time.

This was my first time at this restaurant. The African American lady at the front was the first person I saw. She was friendly and poised. We were waiting on a friend, and she checked on us sporadically. We were seated after our friend arrived and the service we received was impeccable. The food was quite delectable!!!!!! I will return SOON!!!!!

Slightly limited menu in regards to customization of the bowls and tight, communal seating inside. The pork belly is some of the best I've ever had. Everything else about the bowl was good, if unspectacular, but the pork really stood out as the focal point.

I've eaten at plenty of different ramen places and this one is definitely the best. Appetizers and the meals were delicious. The location is in a great spot near my job, so I plan on becoming a regular. Very highly recommended!

I've eaten here at least twice a month for the last two years and I love it. Whenever I have friends tell me that they're going to Nashville, I immediately recommend Otaku Ramen or Bar Otaku (their sister store) for lunch or dinner. It's even better on a cold autumn or winter day, the broth will warm your soul and make your tummy happy ????????
