    Excellent flavor and fresh chicken makes this a great spot for hot chicken. The sides are excellent and filling. Medium hot is tolerable for the person who likes the 'heat' but doesn't want to chew the inside of their mouth off.

    The chicken was amazing, the sides were amazing! They should warn non pork eaters that there's ham in the collard greens, red potato salad needed salt, fries were awesome but got soggy quick, mac and cheese was awesome. Medium was my fave but mild and light mild were good too. Will definitely be going back to try hot.

    Great Chicken, Great Portions! First visit to Nashville and the 2 things we had on our list was eat Nashville BBQ & Hot Chicken. We found a review for Martin's BBQ - total disappointment! 8pm and out of pork, spare ribs, sausage and chicken and paid 40.00 for 2 OK dinners and 2 cokes. Tonight tried Pepperfire Hot Chicken, a short drive from downtown. Portions were excellent (5 JUMBO chicken tenders plenty for 2). For the same price $40, we had WAY more than enough food + 2 large beers! Not bad! I like how they operate - all the workers hussle! LOVE THIS!!!!

    There's a lot of good Hot Chicken joints in Nashville and Pepperfire is one of the best. Quality chicken and sides, great service and a mellow vibe. Menu is simple and the line was short. Food came out quickly and was excellent. Their hot isnt as intense as others which is great if you're looking to be a little adventurous. Definitely recommend for anybody looking to give hot chicken a try for the first time and for those who know it well.

    Pepperfire is one of my favorite places to eat in the country. It's by far the best Nashville style chicken place and makes passing through Nashville a treat. I highly recommend the Tender Royal. Be aware that this place does not play when it comes to spicy. I like hot food and this places puts me in my place. I can comfortably eat their hot, but anything over is too much for me. If you like normal type hotsauce I'd say go with their medium.

    But you should absolutely eat here if you like chicken and spicy food. Its a gem for sure
