Josh and I shared our first date at Rolf and Daughters about a year ago. The atmosphere, food, service and of course my handsome date made my night so memorable! Besides the authenticity and deliciousness of our food, when thinking back, our waiter Steve played such a special roll in our experience on that first date. He described the food with such passion and exactly like what it actually tasted like. His quirky personality made Josh and I both smile every time he came to our table.
Fast forward, we are so happily married! We decided to go back to the very place we shared our first date at Rolf and Daughters. We both were so excited when we saw Steve walk up to our table. He was the exact quirky waiter we so fondly remembered! He excitedly describe each item on the menu! We had another magical night!
If you have not dined at Rolf and Daughters, Josh and I highly recommend it! It is just a truly special place!
Absolutely fantastic! Great service, and amazing cuisine. When I mentioned where I would be eating to a few local colleagues they immediately raved about it, too. An absolute must if you are visiting Nashville. If you live there and haven't been, yet. Then make a reservation right away. I just can't say enough. I'll post some pics after my next visit.
This restaurant is a solid five stars for the quality of food and the service. The heritage pork was succulent and incredibly tasty. The trout was cooked to perfection, just barely done as fish should be. I highly recommend it!
Great, local ingredients drive the menu at this hip standby in Nashville. All of the flavors of the South are present and wonderful without the expected heaviness of the region. The outdoor patio has a nice atmosphere, and the nearby greenery adds to the freshness and feeling of being connected to the local flavors. Service is relaxed yet serious, with a great knowledge of what's happening in the kitchen but in no way forced on the diner.
It is a great experience. We ate outside it was a tad warm. The tea was not a flavor that I cared for. The tomato appetizer was presented well and tasted great. The chicken was cooked well but the flavor was not my style. Service was great. The others loves their entree so it was just an odd night for me.
