Rosepepper Cantina

A little difficult to get to and find parking but well worth it. Their chips and salsa were good. Plenty of space and nice outdoor seating area with fans. The marinades were amazing and my burrito was fantastic. We all shared a little of our meals and everything was fantastic. It was pretty busy and the staff was spread pretty thin so wait times are a thing. Worth it though.

The food comes out incredibly fast, and the servers are great, but let's be honest: The food here isn't great. It's not even good. It's... average. Maybe a notch below.

The good news is no one goes to Rosepepper for the food. Their margaritas are the best in Nashville.

I don't feel great giving Rosepepper three stars, because their staff is amazing, and I love their margs, but the food is really just... it's not good.

They have a wide variety of spicy and non-spicy options, and many delicious gluten friendly options. My wife has a gluten allergy so this is a big deal to us.
My 2.5 year old daughter regularly asks for their salsa, which makes this one of our regular haunts.

Rosepepper Cantina seemed like a pretty good place. I give it good marks for the salsa before the food arrived. The chips were great and there was a selection of three salsas which were pretty good. The fajitas were a mixed bag. The beef was a bit fatty and they seemed devoid of a lot of spice. The side beans and I that came were very good though. Overall a fairly decent place, though it is expensive for Mexican food.

First of all, ICONIC margaritas. They have created a standard of Margarita Excellence and from what I understand they have won some awards. Like, if you come and don’t have a margarita you have already cheated yourself. Staff is SUPER friendly, and the food is also amazing. Great vibe, jewel of East Nashville. You guys are going great!
