I was excited to visit Saint Añejo after it was recommended by a friend before our trip to Nashville. I’m not an expert, but I do eat a lot of tacos. A lot. You can read the rest of my review, but the summary is that the tacos were good, not great.

I was a bit put off by the 45 minute wait when the restaurant looked half empty but we just wandered around, it’s a great area. Once we were seated the drinks were great and the salsa was unique and enjoyable. The spicy guacamole is really good, definitely try it. My mistake with the tacos was ordering off the brunch menu and not the lunch/dinner menu. It’s smaller and doesn’t have as many good choices. My favorite was the Nashville hot chicken, it was good and different. The other two I tried were just ok, I wouldn’t have them again. Overall, it was a 4-star experience. I would go back, but only if I could order off the larger menu.

The service was great. The tacos are good, especially the Al Pastor. One minor critique is for the Shrimp taco. They need to use saltwater shrimp instead of farm raised. The flavors in that taco are great but you can taste the difference in the shrimp. We will definitely be back!!!

I ate here for the first time tonight, and it was a wonderful experience. I have a lot of food allergies that have forced me to switch to a vegan soy free diet. The waitress was very accommodating to my food allergies and gave me a allergy labeled menu. I still struggled to find a meal that fit my strict diet. The waitress stated the chef could make me a bowl with all veggies, beans and rice. It was delicious. I felt valued as a customer and didn’t get treated like I was some weird person. I’m thankful the chef did this for me, and that the waiting staff were trained to be sensitive to food restrictions. I will be returning again! Maybe they’ll nickname my bowl the Hot Tam vegan bowl. ????

Love the decor! Got there early enough, not a terrible wait! Wish I had know they had free valet parking before I paid to park. Food was good. A little pricey but it's in the ❤ of Nashville, that should be expected. The staff was knowledgeable and any questions we had they gave prompt answers. Will go back again strictly because of the food and staff. Prices be damned! Lol

Went here later in the evening in need of some dinner and this was a great choice! The staff was friendly and the food came quickly and was delicious! We went later on a weeknight so there wasn't much of a wait. It looked like they had a nice patio/outdoor space when the weather is nice!
