I highly recommend this restaurant. I am Indian and cook Indian food at home, so I am picky and very critical of Indian restaurants, but this one passed and went beyond my test!
The flavors of the dishes are incredible. The food tastes very fresh, with subtle nice touches, such as fresh tomatoes and cilantro. The service is also wonderful. Waiters are very prompt with orders and polite. I look forward to coming back here again.
The food at Sitar is much better than Chauhan Ale House, which compromises a lot of Indian flavors and authenticity of Indian cuisine. This is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in Nashville.
Wonderful buffet! Great place to try a variety of Indian foods. They have the Indian name for the dish, then an explanation of the dish under it for those of us who are new. Everything was tasty, and I'm a picky eater. The desserts were my favorite, as they were light and sweet and not at all heavy (a rice pudding and almond and pistachio custard). Will definitely go again
This place is absolutely magical and the price was good as well. I will definitely be back. I recommend this place heavily.
This is a good buffet. The variety is sufficient and the quality is good. The service here is always up to par. I come here regularly, but there is better...
Sitar is a wonderful Indian food buffet.
The taste reminds me of authentic Indian restaurants I tried in Chicago, but Sitar has toned down the heat level of their dishes. Other Indian restaurants have nearly taken my composure due to intense spice. Sitar gave a wonderful blend of tasty and slight spice that is equivalent to hit wings from Papa John's.
I'm sure there are other spicy dishes, but if you can't handle the heat you can eat here.
